Honey & Peanut Butter Party Loaf (circa 1954)
From 1954 Family Circle! Easy mixing, speedy baking....wonderful eating! You'll happily serve little "fingers" with cream cheese between. You'll marvel at the way this loaf keeps moist-fresh until the last crumb vanishes. Natural flower sugars in honey make it the sweetest sweet!

Instructions
  1. Sift flour, baking powder, salt.
  2. Blend peanut butter and honey, then add dry ingredients
  3. Beat in milk gradually until a soft dough is formed
  4. Pour into a greased loaf pan, 9 by 5 by 3 inches
  5. Bake in oven 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes or until done
Frosting
  1. Blend together 1/4 cup honey and 1/3 cup of peanut butter
  2. Add 1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar and mix well
  3. Spread onto warm loaf and cut into fingers
