Our old lady squad loves to read. Some of us are addicts, some of us casual, but we believe every lady needs an arsenal of books. These days, in our busy lives, reading has become a luxury. We encourage you to pledge to read more, starting now. We’re not saying don’t watch TV. We love to binge TV too. But at night, try this experiment: instead of scrolling through your phone, dedicate at least 15 minutes to reading (even if it’s a Kindle or electronic reader) before you go to sleep. It will improve your sleep. Yes, the internet has given us a wealth of information at our fingertips, but reading an actual book will expand your knowledge, center your brain, and make you a smarty pants. Armchair travel, learn a new skill, disappear into the past!
